Jo Lambert, MD, PhD, is Senior Full Professor in Dermatology and Venereology and Academic Head of the department of Dermatology at Ghent University Hospital in Belgium. Professor Lambert previously studied at the Dermatology Department at Boston University and the Centre for Electron Microscopy at Leiden University.

She is a board member of several national and international psoriasis (and policy) expert committees and is presently Past President of the Royal Society of Dermatology and Venereology and member of the Royal Academy of Medicine, Belgium. She presides the EADV Task Force Psoriasis. She is Past President of the Skin Inflammation and Psoriasis International Network (SPIN), and International Psoriasis Council councilor. Professor Lambert runs the Gent Psoriasis Lab and has been involved in many clinical trials focusing on psoriasis treatments and is passionate about ensuring patients suffering with chronic skin disease receive the best care and support. She runs an expert clinic for psoriasis (PsoPlus) and other skin immune diseases. Professor Lambert has published more than 170 articles in peer-reviewed journals and made contributions to several textbooks.

As a Master in Nursing, and after a challenging period of 6 years as a Dermatology Head Nurse, Elfie Deprez started her PhD track in March 2019. In addition to her clinical activities as a specialized PsoPlus nurse since 2013, she is part of the “Value-based Healthcare in psoriasis” (VIA) team focussing on multiple the work packages: defining a Core Outcome Set for psoriasis, setting up an Integrated Practice Unit for psoriasis, implementing a psoriasis patient platform (PsoQuest) and leading of the PsoNurse project, a project focussing on the nurses’ role in care for psoriasis patients. Next to this she is an active member of the Belgian Dermatology Nurses Association and the Nurse Associations Working Group of the EADV.

Isabelle Hoorens is a medical doctor and dermatologist, she finished her residency in Dermatology in 2018. After working as a dermatologist in the Ghent University Hospital, she started working as a postdoctoral researcher in the dpt of Dermatology, and partly in Prof Lambert’s research team since 2019.

Niels Hilhorst is an MD and licensed dietician/nutritionist and has been a member of Prof Lambert’s research team since 2019. He strives to improve care for dermatology patients and with this mindset he started his PhD. Currently he is in his third year of his PhD in which he tries to improve care by structuring it based on outcomes relevant for psoriasis patients (VIA project). He also a collaborator of the project of Dr Grine regarding the gut-brain-skin axis in psoriasis.

In 2017, Rani Soenen graduated at the KU Leuven as a driven and passionate biomedical scientist with a passion for clinical research, eye for detail and a strong heart for people. After working as a research coordinator at the Department of Dermatology at UZ Gent, she is currently working towards a PhD degree on therapeutic drug monitoring of biologics in psoriasis.

Lisa Schots graduated as medical doctor and started her residency in Dermatology at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2018. In 2019, she joined Prof Lambert’s research team at UZ Gent to complement her medical training with scientific input as a PhD student. She focuses on the implementation of personalized care by studying therapeutic drug monitoring and biomarkers of biologics in psoriasis.

Erin Roman obtained a Masters in Financial Management from Vlerick Business School in 2016. Currently working as PhD Candidate in the department of Business Economics at the KU Leuven. PhD thesis is focusing on Value Based Health care with the focus on operational improvement within the hospital setting.

Dr. Galimany is a physician-surgeon from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, where he specialized in Dermatology and Venereology. He also completed a master's degree in Autoimmune Diseases at the University of Barcelona.
